Mary Anne Reilly

Mary Anne Reilly is a founding shareholder in the firm of Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, P.A. Prior to founding Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, Mary Anne was a partner in the Tampa office of Arthur Andersen LLP. She is an honors graduate of the University of Notre Dame. She joined Arthur Andersen in 1978 after two years with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in Chicago. She became a manager in 1981 and a partner in 1987. In 1994 she assumed the leadership of Andersen’s Central Florida Tax Practice. She was also responsible for Andersen’s Florida Federal Business Tax Practice.
Mary Anne has twenty-nine years of experience serving clients in various industries including real estate, agribusiness, manufacturing and publishing. She has worked with private and public companies, tax-exempt organizations and high net worth individuals.
Mary Anne has lectured extensively on a number of topics dealing with different aspects of taxation. She has been actively involved in the community and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Shorecrest Preparatory School in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Charles H. Fisher, Jr.

Charlie is a founding shareholder in the firm of Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, P.A. and is in his thirteenth year of public practice. Prior to the formation of the new firm, Charlie was a manager in the Private Client Services practice of Arthur Andersen’s Florida Market Circle Tax Division, having joined the firm in January 1994. He received his A.B. in History from Princeton University and his M.Acc. degree in Taxation from the University of South Florida.
Charlie has deep experience in the area of individual, estate and trust taxation and personal financial planning. His interests in individual taxation and the analysis of investments have also led to a focus on investment taxation issues and tax efficient charitable giving. Charlie also has experience in addressing wealth transfer matters of concern to the individual taxpayer, and took his Masters level elective tax coursework in estate and gift tax planning and advanced partnership taxation. He also has extensive experience in tax compliance for trusts, estates, partnerships, S corporations and individuals.
Charlie is an investment advisory practitioner at Reilly, Fisher & Solomon. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, having completed a rigorous three examination series on investment theory and mathematics, and has had continuous involvement in engagements involving the rendering of investment advice throughout his career.
Charlie is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Florida. He is a member of the AICPA’s Personal Financial Planning Division, and has also been designated by the AICPA as Accredited in Business Valuation and as a Personal Financial Specialist. He has also earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner. Charlie has passed the NASD Series 2 & 65 examinations.
Charlie is also actively involved in business valuation at the firm. In his career he has performed at least 80 such appraisals, and also has experience defending such appraisals before the IRS at the examination level and at the Appeals Office level. Charlie has been published in Valuation Strategies magazine, co-authoring the article “Valuation Discounts on Family Limited Partnerships: Why the Nature of the Underlying Assets Shouldn’t Matter” (Jan/Feb 1999).
Charlie is a Board member of the Tampa Connection, a civic organization which introduces young executives to the charitable and civic opportunities available in the Tampa area, and is the Treasurer of the Princeton Alumni Association of the Florida Suncoast. He is a member of both the Planned Giving Committee and the Finance Committee of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Red Cross. He is married to Elizabeth Fisher, twelve years, and they have three children. Charlie has been a resident of Tampa since childhood.

Martin B. Solomon

Martin B. Solomon is a founding shareholder in the firm of Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, P.A. Prior to founding Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, Marty was a partner in the Tampa office of Arthur Andersen LLP. He is an honors graduate of Lehigh University (1965) and received an MBA degree from the University of Michigan (1966). He joined the Tampa office of Arthur Andersen in 1966.
As a full-time tax practitioner for 40 years, he has had extensive and varied experience in federal and state tax matters, with particular emphasis on personal financial and estate planning, partnerships and charitable giving. His specific industry experience includes retail, real estate and distribution.
Marty is a member of the Personal Financial Planning Division of the AICPA and has been accredited by the AICPA as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). Marty has completed the NASD Series 2 and 65 exams and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative in the state of Florida. Marty has been an expert witness on accounting and tax matters in Federal and Florida courts as well. He is the author of the chapter entitled Death and Retirement of Partners which is included in Matthew Bender’s Federal Tax Service and has written articles for The Journal of Real Estate Taxation, The Journal of Partnership Taxation, The Journal of Taxation and Valuation Strategies. He also taught partnership taxation for the Master of Taxation program at the University of South Florida.
Marty has been very active in civic affairs, including the following:

  • Board of Governors of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce
  • Southeast Regional V.P. and Alumni Board of Lehigh University
  • Board of the Hillsborough County Division of Emergency Medical Services
  • Florida Bar Grievance Committee
  • Treasurer and Executive Board member of the local Anti Defamation League (ADL)
  • Board of Tampa, Orlando, Pinellas Jewish Foundation
  • President of Rodeph Sholom Synagogue; and Treasurer of Real Estate Investment Council
Marty has also served on and chaired the investment committees of the TOP Foundation, the Lowry Park Zoo and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay.

Arlin Beachy

Arlin is a shareholder in the firm Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, P.A. Prior to joining the firm, Arlin was a senior tax associate in the Tampa office of Arthur Andersen, LLP. Arlin has experience serving clients in a variety of industries, with a focus in real estate development, construction, and agriculture. Arlin also specializes in serving nonprofit organizations.
Arlin is a graduate of Florida State University, where he received a degree in accounting. Arlin is a Florida CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Born in Sarasota, Arlin is a native of the Tampa Bay area and has resided in Hillsborough County for the past six years. He is an alumnus of the Tampa Connection, a civic organization which introduces young executives to charitable and civic opportunities in the Tampa area. He enjoys spending time with Wendi, his wife of seven years, and their newborn son.

Tomislav (Tom) Loncar

Tom joined Reilly, Fisher & Solomon, P.A. at its inception in the Spring of 2002. Tom was promoted to a manager position with the firm in 2003, and was admitted as a shareholder in 2006. Before joining the firm Tom worked at Arthur Andersen as a senior staff accountant for six years, joining Andersen in September 1996. He graduated from Florida State University with his Accounting and Finance degree in 1996 and is a Florida CPA.
Tom has ten years of experience providing excellent client service in various industries. His experience is in individual and trust income taxation, taxation of closely held businesses including partnership and S corporation taxation, personal financial planning and investment advisory services.
Tom has lived in Tampa for 10 years since his graduation from Florida State. He has been married to his wife, Julia, for four years. Tom is active in Tampa civic life, and volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay doing special projects and assisting in after school programs.
